The Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) was established to showcase and promote talent and the value of the art and science of architecture around the world. It also acts to set new benchmarks for the architectural and design professions globally. The Architecture MasterPrize™ was assembled by the Farmani Group, an organization curating and promoting art, design and architecture across the globe since 1985.[1]

History[edit]

The Architecture MasterPrize™ was assembled by the Farmani Group as the sister initiative of the International Design Awards, which has been judging multi-disciplinary design since 2007. The award was first established in 2016 with a Jury of over 50 comprised of architects and leaders in the architecture world. These select winners over three programs. These are the Architectural Designs of the Year, Architectural Firms of the Year and the Architectural Products of the Year.

The Farmani Group, established in 1985, is the organizer of International Design Awards (IDA), International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photographie in Paris, London International Creative Competition, and the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography.[2]

Architectural Designs of the Year[edit]

The AMP™ Designs of the Year program recognizes and celebrates the very best architectural, interior and landscape designs based on design excellence and innovation.

Architectural Firms of the Year[edit]

The AMP™ Firm of the Year Award recognizes the excellence of inspiring and innovative architectural firms based on their total body of work. The award recognizes the full portfolio of firms while respecting the companies’ unique resources and specializations.[3]

Architectural Products of the Year[edit]

The Architectural Products of the Year recognizes the most outstanding products and materials, which meet the exacting demands of construction in the 21st century. (Launched in 2019).
