Arctoris Ltd is a technology company founded and headquartered in Oxford (UK) with its Asia-Pacific operations based in Singapore.[1][2] Arctoris developed and operates a fully automated drug discovery platform, generating data from cell-based, molecular biology, biochemical, and biophysical assays conducted by robotics.[3][4] Arctoris pursues its own pipeline of drug discovery programs and also partners with other biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical corporations and academic centres, giving them access to Arctoris’ robotic lab facility.[5]

Technology

Founded in 2016, Arctoris has raised $10M to date via research grants and from investors including among others Tanarra Capital[6] and Patrick Pichette. The drug discovery platform developed by Arctoris is based on a combination of laboratory robotics, proprietary automation protocols, digital assay data capture, and automated data analytics, generating significantly more data points per assay than manual laboratory operations.[7][8] This has been seen as a unique advantage for scenarios where access to large amounts of structured and accurate data is paramount, such as AI-driven drug discovery programs.[9][10]
