Ardi Pulaj (born February 11,1986) is an Albanian newspresenter[1], journalist[2], and screenwriter[3]. He is best known for his work as a news presenter and journalist with Top Channel,[4] one of main Albanian television netowrk. Pulaj has also participated in various journalism and media projects at regional and international levels.

Early Life and Education

Ardi Pulaj was born on 11 February 1981, in Tirana, Albania. He completed his higher education in communication and journalism at various institutions:

  • University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, Department of Journalism - Master's Degree in Intercultural Communication (2019–2021)
  • Southeast European University, North Macedonia - Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences (2008–2011)
  • Danish and Dutch Journalism Schools - Danmarks Journalisthøjskole and Hogeschool van Utrecht, Degree in International Journalism (2003–2004)

Television and journalism[edit]

He has contributed[5] investigative articles to Balkan Insight,[6] where he highlighted cultural and social topics. He has also worked as a correspondent for the[7] BBC[8] Albanian service, reporting on higher education and societal developments in Albania.[9]

In addition to his journalism[10] work, Pulaj[11] has served as a screenwriter for the reality television show StarTop and as an editor and author for the Albanian section of Global Voices,[12]

Pulaj has also hosted investigative television programs, including Beyond the Yellow Line (Jashtë Vijës së Verdhë), a collaborative series between Top Channel and the "Dritan Hoxha" Foundation.[13]
