Areej Mohsin Haider Darwish Al-Zaabi (Arabic: أريج محسن حيدر درويش الزعابي, born 18 October 1971) is an Omani Arabian businessperson.[2] She was listed on Forbes magazine's[3][4] and Forbes's The Middle East's Most Powerful Businesswomen[5] among others. The Arab Power List 2021,[6] Women of Influence in Arab World 2021[7] and Forbes's The Middle East's Most Powerful Businesswomen[8] among others. Areej is the daughter of Mohsin Haider Darwish Al-Zaabi, an Omani businessmen.
Areej has also established her own business under the name of Areej Mohsin Haider Darwish L.L.C. (AMHD) in 2014 where she has launched two businesses which are “Blessing Chocolates & Gifts” and “First Impression Artwork”.[9]
Early life and education[edit]
Areej was born in Muscat on 18 October[1] to Mohsin Haider Darwish Al-Zaabi and Fatma Jaafar Abdulraheem Al-Bahrani. Her father was an Omani Businessman from the early 1960s.[10] [[1]]
