Ari Paul
Ari Paul is a digital asset investor based out of Stamford, Connecticut. He is currently a Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at BlockTower Capital.[1]
Career[edit]
Ari Paul is the CIO and co-founder of BlockTower Capital.[1] He was previously a portfolio manager for the University of Chicago's $8 billion endowment, and a derivatives market maker and proprietary trader for Susquehanna International Group (SIG).[2] Ari earned a BA in political science from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from the University of Chicago. Ari is a CFA charterholder. BlockTower Capital takes long and short positions across a variety of cryptocurrencies.[2]
Personal Life[edit]
Ari is originally from Princeton, New Jersey and graduated from the Princeton Day School.[3] He attended the University of Pennsylvania where he was a part of the Philomathean Society, Compass Literary Circle, Varsity Fencing Team, and Ben Franklin Scholars Program. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2006.[3] Ari went on to attain his Master of Business Administration while studying Econometrics & Statistics, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Economics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2014.[3]
