Aria Shahghasemi
Aria Shahghasemi is an Iranian-American actor.[1]. He is best known for his role as Landon Kirby in the last season of The Originals and then its spin-off, Legacies[2]
Early Life[edit]
Shahghasemi was born on October 7, 1996, in Minneapolis, in the state of Minnesota, and raised by his mother and father.[3]. His parents migrated to America when his mother was about 21 years old and he is a first-generation American in his family[1]. He speaks American English and Farsi[1]
Before acting, Shahghasemi enrolled for a BFA in theater at Southern Oregon University in New York.[3]. He also attended the New York Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre for an acting apprenticeship[3]. During this time, he also worked as a bartender, a waiter, and a carpenter[3]
Shahghasemi has stated that he played a rat in fifth grade and performed in his high school's production of Talk Radio.[1]
