Aria Soleimani
Aria Soleimani (آریا سلیمانی born 15 August 1997, in Tehran, Iran) is a Water Polo player on the Canadian National Team. He is a member of the Canada men's national water polo team that claimed silver at the 2017 UANA Cup in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.[1]
Playing the driver position, Aria was named Most Valuable Player in the 2013 U16 National Championships.[2] Playing with the Calgary Torpedeos, he also claimed two National Championship titles and multiple All-Star team awards.[3] In addition, he won Gold at the Jr. Pan American Championships with the Junior National Team in Edmonton, Alberta.[4]
Aria is a graduate of the National Sport School and is currently attending the University of Calgary
