In Italy, the name Ariebella means "Beautiful Melody". In Korea, it means "Strong and Loved". The German version of this name, Arabella, means "Eagle Heroine." it may also mean "Beautiful and Elegant", as well as "Prayerful" or "Answered Prayer" in Latin, "Little Arabian Woman" in Spanish, or simply "Pretty" in English, mostly in Britain. Although arguments exist against it, the name Arabella may also mean "Beautiful Lion" in Greek. Perhaps it means them all.

The name has several meanings in history but another claim to the name was found later on. Stacy's Blog states the name Ariebella originated in America and was created as a mix of several Disney Princess' names. Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella were used. Birth records have been found to back this statement but belief seemed hard to come by. Later documents were found showing the creation of the name, and tying it to the woman, named Stacy Swindle. Still, however, she is not credited to the creation of the name, as arguments have been made that the names, Ariebella and Arabella, have appeared in history a few times before. Perhaps lost in translation, the mystery is still unknown if the name was truly shown in historical documents.

The name Ariebella is used by the following celebrities: - Ariebella Makana
