Arjun Vir Singh is a management consultant and financial technology executive. He is a Partner at Arthur D. Little, the global management consultancy, where he serves as Global Head of FinTech and Head of Financial Services for the Middle East, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[1] He is the host of Couchonomics with Arjun, a podcast and video series focused on fintech, payments, and digital assets.[2] He co-founded Fintech Tuesdays, a fintech networking community in the Gulf region,[3] and serves on the board of the MENA FinTech Association.[4] Singh has been cited as an expert source by Arab News, Gulf Business, Arabian Business, Zawya, and Khaleej Times on topics including buy now, pay later, digital assets regulation, and fintech venture capital in the Gulf region.[5][6]
Career
Early career
Singh began his professional career at GE Capital, working in consumer and automotive finance divisions from 1995 to 1998.[7] He subsequently joined Marconi PLC as a Transformation Leader from 1999 to 2002, leading post-merger integration and restructuring programmes across the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.[7] From 2002 to 2006, he served as Director of UK Distribution Strategy at AXA, leading distribution strategy and planning for AXA's UK life insurance business.[7]

Between 2006 and 2015, Singh was a Director and Associate Partner at PA Consulting Group, where he led client engagements across financial services, digital banking, and large-scale organisational transformation projects in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.[8]
Al-Futtaim Group
From 2015 to 2020, Singh served as Executive Vice President of Cards and Payments at the Al-Futtaim Group, a diversified conglomerate headquartered in the UAE. Ecosystem roles and board positions
Singh serves as a Special Advisor to the Board of the Global Finance and Technology Network (GFTN), a not-for-profit organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to promote innovation in financial services.[8] He is a Board Member of the MENA FinTech Association and a member of the Executive Committee of The Entertainer, a UAE-based lifestyle and loyalty platform.[4] He has served as an Ambassador for the Singapore FinTech Festival.[8] Singh co-founded Fintech Tuesdays, which in 2025 entered a formal content partnership with the Khaleej Times Banking and Innovation Technology Summit.[3] He is also active as an angel investor, holding positions in a number of fintech and technology startups.[4]

Education
Singh holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of Delhi and a Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Mumbai.[8] He subsequently obtained two Master of Business Administration degrees: one in Strategy and Operations from Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick, and one in Strategy and Finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.[8] He also holds a Certificate in Business Architecture from Henley Business School and is a certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.[7]
