Arknights: Endfield is a real-time 3D RPG with strategic elements by Hypergryph,the game developer known for its popular tower-defense game Arknights.[1] The game will be F2P and monetized through in-app purchases. A premiere teaser of Arknights: Endfield was released on March 16th,2022, and its CG trailer and gameplay demo on March 18th,2022.The game is still in the early stage of development.[2]

Plot and World view[edit]
The game is set on a planet called 'Talos-II' which features vast wildlands, uninhabited territories, dangerous wastelands, and breathtaking landscapes.[3]
According to the text from the official site, players will have to venture beyond the habitable colonies of humans to discover the secrets of the land together with the operators of a company called 'Endfield Industries'. Although such terms as 'Originium Engines', and 'Nomadic cites' appear in the descriptions, Famitsu does not indicate Arknights: Endfield as a sequel to Arknights.[4]
Endfield will possess the same “worldview” as Arknights, it will take place on an entirely new planet, introduce a new cast of characters, and feature a unique storyline, PAM K FERDINAND, Gamerant.[5]
Gameplay[edit]
According to the gameplay demo, players are allowed to control multiple characters at the same time to explore the map and evade mechanics such as shock waves.[6]
Crunchyroll, Humberto Saabedra, supposed that the 'exploring' progress from the gameplay demo shows an obvious nod to RPG mechanics.[7]
Development[edit]
Through the global official website of Arknights: Endfield, players can pre-register with an e-mail address for latest news and updates.[8] The game will be localized into multiple languages.
