Troy Armani McGruder (born March 8, 1996), professionally known as Armani Mikel, is an American record producer, songwriter, influencer & entrepreneur.[1]
Raised in Louisville, KY, Armani started producing using FL Studio at the age of 9 when he snuck into his parents' studio while they were away. Using music sharing websites such as SoundCloud & SoundClick alongside the power of prominent social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, & Myspace), Armani was able to create a cult following led by atmospheric beats, movie-like scores and, often, sample-based compositions. He also gained awareness by using videos made by popular and indie creators on Vine as vocal samples, ranging from the likes of DC Young Fly, Eric Dunn, Jessica Vanessa, Ricky Montgomery, DeRay Davis, and even Meek Mill and Rick Ross.[2]
With, in addition to music, Armani is also a gamer and aspiring actor.
