Armis Security Ltd., commonly known as Armis, the cyber exposure management and security company, is a private Israeli information security company that specializes in securing the Internet of Things (IoT).
Armis ensures that organizations continuously see, protect and manage all critical assets, from the ground to the cloud. Armis secures Fortune 100, 200 and 500 companies as well as national governments.[1], state and local entities to help keep critical infrastructure, economies and society stay safe and secure 24/7.
Founded in 2015, Armis has secured significant venture capital funding and achieved a valuation exceeding $6 billion as of November 6th, 2025[2]. The company operates globally with headquarters in San Francisco, California, and a significant research and development center in Tel Aviv, Israel.
In 2025, Armis was designated as a "Leader" in two separate Forrester Wave reports for IoT Security Solutions[3] and Unified Vulnerability Management[4]. During the same period, Gartner placed the company in the "Leaders" quadrant for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Protection Platforms[5]. Frost & Sullivan named Armis the 2025 "Company of the Year" in two categories: Global CPS Security[6] and Global Healthcare Cybersecurity[7]. Additionally, the company has been included in the Fortune Cyber 60[8] for two consecutive years and the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 for five consecutive years[9].
History
Armis was founded in 2015 by Yevgeny Dibrov (CEO) and Nadir Izrael (CTO), both graduates of the Technion's Faculty of Computer Science,. The founders aimed to address the security gap created by the proliferation of unmanaged devices, like smart devices, printers, and industrial controllers, that traditional network security tools could not effectively monitor or protect.
Acquisition By Insight Partners
In January 2020, Armis was acquired in a majority stake transaction valued at approximately $1.1 billion by an investor group led by Insight Partners, with participation from CapitalG[10] (Alphabet’s independent growth fund). This transaction allowed Armis to scale its operations globally while remaining an independent entity focused on long-term growth and platform development.
Growth and Valuation
Following the 2020 acquisition, Armis entered a period of rapid growth. The company successfully completed several large funding rounds, significantly increasing its valuation:
- February 2021: Raised an additional $125 million, reaching a valuation of $2 billion.[11]
- November 2021: Secured $300 million, increasing its valuation to $3.4 billion.[12]
- October 2024: Raised $200 million in a Series D round, hitting a valuation of $4.2 billion.[13]
- November 2025: Completed a major pre-IPO funding round of $435 million, valuing the company at $6.1 billion.[14]
- December 2025: The company ServiceNow reached an agreement to acquire Armis for $7.75 billion.
Armis works with over 40% of the Fortune 100 companies and has surpassed $300 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) as of November 5th, 2025[15]
Products and Technology: The Centrix™ Platform
Armis Centrix™, the cyber exposure management and security platform, was launched in September 2023[16]. It is powered by Armis’ AI-driven asset intelligence engine that monitors billions of assets world-wide[17] to identify cyber risk patterns and behaviors. It delivers actionable cyber intelligence to detect and address real-time threats across the entire attack surface.
Armis Centrix™ provides organizations with the ability to build a comprehensive cybersecurity program focused on: asset management and security, vulnerability and security finding, prioritization and remediation, OT/ICS security, medical device security, and exposure early warning.
It is a seamless, frictionless, cloud-based platform that proactively identifies and mitigates all cyber asset risks, remediates vulnerabilities and security findings, blocks threats and protects the entire attack surface.
Unified Intelligence and Agentless Coverage
Armis Centrix™ focuses on unified, deeply contextual, and AI-driven Cyber Exposure Management. It is designed to see, protect, and manage the entire attack surface.
The Pillars of Armis Intelligence and Coverage
Armis Centrix™ relies on The Armis AI-driven Asset Intelligence Engine, a crowd-sourced, cloud-based asset behavior knowledgebase, that continuously monitors billions of assets globally. It provides deep context-rich data, identifying cyber risk patterns, flagging assets operating outside a "known-good baseline," and enabling the platform to proactively address cyber asset risk.
Comprehensive Data Ingestion and Orchestration
Armis Centrix™ achieves its holistic, real-time view by seamlessly integrating with and ingesting data from hundreds of existing security and IT infrastructure solutions. It correlates, normalizes, rationalizes, and de-duplicates data from:
- Telemetry: Network traffic and telemetry data from various integrations, processed in real-time using deep packet inspection (DPI) to extract details about all connected devices.
- Integrations: External data from CMDBs, SIEM/SOAR platforms, vulnerability scanners, endpoint security solutions, and ticketing systems.
This unified data ingestion and integration strategy allows Armis Centrix™ to consolidate, prioritize, and manage millions of alerts and findings to drastically reduce the Mean-Time-To-Resolution (MTTR) for the right exposures. The platform then orchestrates automated actions and bidirectional communication with the existing security stack, managing the entire remediation lifecycle.
Solutions
Armis Centrix™ is the Cyber Exposure Management Platform delivers a suite of solutions tailored to specific security needs:
- Armis Centrix™ for Asset Management and Security: this solution offers comprehensive visibility to streamline asset management processes while fortifying security posture. It empowers organizations to efficiently gain deep situational awareness to track and manage assets across diverse environments.
- Armis Centrix™ for OT/IoT Security is a comprehensive cyber exposure management solution designed to protect IT, OT, and IoT assets across industrial, critical infrastructure, government, and enterprise environments. It provides full visibility, risk assessment, and proactive threat mitigation to enhance operational resilience.
- Armis Centrix™ for Medical Device Security is a specialized solution engineered to protect healthcare institutions from the growing threat landscape targeting medical devices. It offers comprehensive visibility, security, and control, enabling healthcare providers to monitor, manage, and secure their diverse fleet of medical devices and facilities.
- Armis Centrix™ for VIPR Pro - Vulnerability Prioritization and Remediation goes beyond vulnerability management to find and consolidate security findings across all sources to holistically understand risk and automate prioritization. It streamlines the entire remediation lifecycle, from identifying owners to operationalizing fixes.
- Armis Centrix™ for Early Warning is a proactive cybersecurity solution designed to empower organizations with early warning intelligence to anticipate and mitigate cyber risk effectively. Leveraging AI-driven actionable intelligence, it provides insights into vulnerabilities that threat actors are exploiting in the wild or are about to weaponize.
Strategic Acquisitions
Armis has engaged in strategic acquisitions to expand its technology stack and market presence, particularly in the areas of exposure management and OT security:
- February 2024: CTCI: Acquired the AI cyber security technology of this firm, known for its early warning proactive threat identification and mitigation technology, to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- April 2024: Silk Security: Acquired the cyber risk prioritization and remediation platform, integrating its capabilities into Armis Centrix™ to significantly bolster the company's exposure management offering.
- March 2025: OTORIO: Acquired the operational technology (OT) and industrial control systems (ICS) security firm. This acquisition immediately broadened Armis's capabilities and deployment options when securing critical infrastructure & CPS environments.
