Arrowiz is an independent video game development and publishing company founded in 2016 with headquarters located in Shanghai, China. The company develops games for PC, console, mobile, and VR or AR devices. Initially established to develop products for the VR market with BEATS FEVER (published by Sunsoft in Japan and by Arrowiz globally),[1] the team reimagined its focus towards story-driven video games[2], with its initial launch HERMITAGE: STRANGE CASE FILES (published by Bilibili in China and published by Giiku Games globally) becoming the best-selling Chinese visual novel on Steam in 2018.[3]
Funding
In 2021, the video game studio Arrowiz revealed closing a Series A investment round led by Tencent for a multi-million USD for a minority stake in the company.[4]
