Art Atayde
Arturo Atayde (aka Art Atayde) is a Spanish-Filipino businessman.[1] He is the husband of famous Filipino actress Sylvia Sanchez. He is a quiet but very humble man. He is also the father of budding celebrities Arjo Atayde and Ria Atayde.
In 1989, he met the love of his life, Sylvia.[1] He was not romantic, but he was persistent. Best of all, he accepted her past, including her daughter, Pia Marie. They lived together for some time. According to Sylvia Sanchez, in an interview with Boy Abunda[2], their relationship struggled initially but eventually blossomed. After 15 years, they married at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Tagaytay on March 27, 2004. Currently, he has four children: Juan Carlos Atayde (Arjo), Maria Sophia Atayde (Ria), Maria Angela Atayde (Gela), and Juan Arturo Atayde (Xavi).
