Artemis is an upcoming American science fiction crime comedy film produced by Regency Enterprises and Simon Kinberg, for Genre Films and distributed by 20th Century Studios. The film will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, from a screenplay by Geneva Robertson-Dworet.

Development[edit]
The film is based on the novel Artemis by Andy Weir.[1] In May 2017, 20th Century Fox and New Regency acquired the film rights to the then not-yet-published novel, with Simon Kinberg and Aditya Sood attached to produce.[2] Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were announced as co-directors in September 2017.[3] In July 2018, it was announced that Geneva Robertson-Dworet would be writing the screenplay.[4]
