Arthur Erastus Holt

Arthur Erastus Holt (1876–1942) was a Christian author, notable for his works such as The Bible As A Community Book[1]. He was also president of the Chicago Theological Seminary[2].

In 1935, he aspired to reopen Merom Conference Center as Merom Institute, aiming to be a place of rural enrichment. A year later, this aspiration happened his way.
