Arthur Klis (or Artur Kliś), born on May 1st, 2003 in Ermont, is a French-Polish rugby union player who plays as a flanker, but can also play as a lock or number 8.

In the Junior category.[edit]

He started playing rugby at the age of 9 in the town of Herblay, as a member of Rugby Conflans Herblay.

In 2014, he left his original club to join the Racing 92 rugby school, where he stayed for 4 years before moving to RC Massy Essonne for one season.

In 2019, he chose to spend a year in England at Brooksby Melton College, a high school affiliated with the Leicester Tigers academy.

In 2020, after the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to the Racing 92 training center, where he still plays in the espoirs category championship.

In the national team[edit]

He was first fielded by Gregory Kacala in a friendly match between a Polish national team of under-20s and one of under-23s in Sopot. He made his debut for the Polish national under-20 team in November 2022 in Lisbon against Portugal -20 during the 2022 European Under-20 Rugby Union Championship. He finished in 6th place with his team.

Then, he joins and plays his first match with the senior Polish national team in February 2023 in Bucharest against Romania during the 2022-2023 European Rugby Championship, under the leadership of Welsh coach Chris Hitt. He plays a second match against Portugal in Gdynia at the national rugby stadium.
