Arthur Michaud (Artist, Game Developer)
Arthur Michaud is an Artist and Game Developer from Massachusetts in the United States. Currently he resides on the South Shore, and owns and operates Retro Active Games. A game and toy development company that focuses on custom Intellectual Property development. Currently he has one published Board Game and has created a video game fan remake of the PlayStation game Casper. Currently he is in development of a new video game intended for release on Nintendo Switch and Steam platforms, as well as a new board game property.
Early Life
Arthur was born in Massachusetts in 1994. He grew up on a small farm on the South Shore. He found he enjoyed reading, classic film, and creating art as early as five years old. He became enthralled and fascinated by Video Games at an early age and often would make paper-craft representations and recreations of his favorite game levels or come up with entirely new ones in his spare time. He also enjoyed board games and would often make his own with whatever art supplies were available. He is an avid fan of, and promoter of the use of Traditional Animation and other "old-school" art techniques.
He attended, but never graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School. Often failing all of his classes, simply due to a feeling of "school not being for" (sic him), as all he ever did during school hours was ignore classwork to focus on constantly writing new stories or ideas for artistic projects and pursuits, instead.
His first real dabbling in programming and web development was during these school years.
He moved away from home at a young age (16) and was homeless for a month before successfully renting his first room. From there he worked a series of jobs until he decided to pursue his career aspects as a full-time game developer and programmer, finding moderate success so far.

Personal Life
Arthur lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts with his dog and his cat. When he was younger, his main passion was to be a filmmaker. Something he has expressed interest in doing at some point in the future, should he get the chance.
When in middle and high school, he often found and maintained inspiration and received gratuitous input on his creations, from a local group of filmmakers consisting of other notable South Shore residents; Neil Cicierega, Kevin James, and Ryan Murphy. He would seek out these individuals to try and learn as much as he could from them and their talented capabilities, and would occasionally be invited to appear in a new skit. Arthur often credits them with his interest in wanting to create film and television works. He, as such, is also an admitted fan of the band Lemon Demon, a one-man-band fronted by Cicierega.
