Starya Hee-seung Sung (born December 30, 1977) is a South Korean artist, painter, professor, and scholar.[1]
She was born in Seoul in 1977. In 1997 she entered the College of Fine Arts at Hongik University, and graduated in 2003 with a BFA and MFA in Fine Art. From 2003 to 2016 she went to NYU for an MA in Studio Art and Goldsmiths, University of London for a PhD in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship, and worked as an artist globally. In 2021–2022 she was invited from NYU as a visiting scholar/ professor in art and art professions. [2]
