Arto selkälä (born July 4, 1969 Rovaniemi) is a Finnish scientist and university lecturer in quantitative studies at the University of Lapland. He is an adjunct professor of economic sociology at the University of Turku. Selkälä studies the interaction between humans and computers (Human computer-interaction) and develops statistical models to measure cognitive load in an online environment. He is an expert in survey methodology and online surveys and also conducts social survey research.[1]
