Arugankulam is a village situated in the Tirunelveli district. It is lying between Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil and Sivagiri.

15 km away from Rajapalayam & Sankarankovil, and 10 km away from Sivagiri. It is situated on Sivagiri Taluk and is enriched with greenery. The big pond is the major water resource of the village. Also there is a river 'Thevi' at the north side of the village. The entrance of the village has a small Lord Ganesa (Sri Selva Vinayagar) Temple under a large Sacred fig and also has a statue of Posumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar under a Large Banyan Tree.
