Dr. Arun Kumar S is an Indian poet and the recipient of Kala Sahitya Awards for young poets in 2019.[1] He acted as the Chairman of Indian Society for Cultural Cooperation and Friendship. He has made contributions to Malayalam and English poetry.[2]
Personal Life and Education[edit]
Arun was born in Haripad, Kerala, on May 30, 1980. He has multiple degrees at graduation and post graduation level - A graduation degree from MSM College in Kayamkulam, a Bachelor from Teacher Education Centre, at Kayamkulam, Bachelor of Law from Annamalai University, a B.Ed & M.Ed in English and PhD in Modernism of Tagore with Special Reference to Gitanjali, etc. He also passed the State Eligibility Test for Lecturers and pursued an MHR at Pondicherry University.Poetry and Literary
Dr. Arun Kumar is a member of several social & literary organizations. His first published book, Sudarshanam, consists of a collection of Malyali poems. His second book is titled 'Visions'. In 2022, he released an Audio CD 'Atmayanathinte Kavitha' as part of his poetry series. His collection of poems called 'Truth, goodness, and beauty behind love' is also available on Amazon.
