Arusha School is a government school located in Arusha, Tanzania. Originally the school was opened in 1934 as a private co-educational school for European children, but in 1972 it was taken over by the government. The school educates students from Nursery to Primary 7. It is both a boarding school and day school.[1]
There are 491 day students and 283 boarders. The tuition for day students is 380,000 Tanzanian shillings per year, (approximately $150) and boarders pay 700,000 shillings per year ($560).[citation needed]
