Arvin Gamboa (born September 13, 1997) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Marinerong Pilipino Skippers of the PBA D-League and for the college basketball team of Mapúa University.[4][3]
Early life and education
Gamboa was born on September 13, 1997, in Iloilo City, Philippines, to Arnold Gamboa[5] and Marivette Gamboa (née Gregorio). Gamboa studied at the Holy Rosary College Foundation in Caloocan City to pursue his secondary school education. He then studied at Mapúa University to pursue his higher education, which also started his college basketball career.[4]
Personal life
His father, Arnold Gamboa, and his uncle, Allan Gamboa, played basketball professionally for the Magnolia Hotshots and the Pop Cola Panthers respectively in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).[6][7][8] He has four siblings, three brothers and one sister.
