ARX deidentifier
ARX is a comprehensive Java open source software for anonymizing sensitive personal data. It supports a wide variety of privacy and risk models, methods for transforming data and methods for analyzing the usefulness of output data.
The software has been used in a variety of contexts, including commercial big data analytics platforms, research projects, clinical trial data sharing and for training purposes. ARX[1][2] is able to handle large datasets on commodity hardware and it features an intuitive cross-platform graphical user interface.
History
ARX[3] name is derived from the Latin word for "Castle". It is published in GitHub[4] by Prof. Fabian Prasser[5] and other contributors on Apr 29, 2013. A list of ARX contributors can be found here.
