Asa Tribe (born 29 March 2004) is a Jersey international cricketer who plays for Glamorgan County Cricket Club. He is a right handed batsman and right arm off break bowler.
Career[edit]
Tribe won Jersey’s 2022 Cricketer of the Year award.[1] He also won the Rising Star Award in the Channel Islands Sports Awards 2023.[2] Tribe was awarded the Glamorgan Balconiers Supporters Club 2nd XI Player of the Year award in late 2023 after scoring back-to-back centuries and scoring 456 runs over the final four games of the season.[3] He was also a member of the Cardiff MCC University squad in 2023. He signed a rookie contract with Glamorgan County Cricket Club in October 2023.[4]
International career[edit]
Tribe made his international debut for Jersey in 2021.[5] In 2022, he scores two half-centuries and a hundred for Jersey against Namibia, the USA and Bermuda.[6]
