Asaé (ah-sah-ay/ Asae Music) is a singer-songwriter from Osaka, Japan who is active mainly in Osaka, Tokyo, and the United States.[1]

Biography

She went to an entertainment high school studying music, singing, Hip Hop dancing, and Voice acting, among other subjects. After graduating from high school at the age of eighteen, she moved to the U.S. She joined Joan Collaso (Emmy Awards Winner, who worked with Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, etc.)'s gospel group.

After returning to Japan, she made her debut with "Make It Shine[2]" in 2019. She performed at ZeppTokyo and Club Quattro, among other venues. Radio FM Karatsu selected her as a radio personality every Monday, and her debut song "Make It Shine" was used as the theme song for the shows. While she was staying in Chicago, USA, she made her single "Wavy" and released it to the world in February 2020. "Wavy" was in the Top 10th place in the iTunes chart R&B genre. The first music video "Wavy" was played in more than 35 countries at the same time as the YouTube broadcast, and has been viewed globally, including India, the United States, and Japan. The song "I Need You[3]" was in the Top 4th place in the iTunes chart electronic genre. She is the main radio personality of the radio show "Asaé's HOT A1" from 86.8 Radio FM. (Broadcasts Every Monday from 8PM to 9PM) In November 2021, she performed at Kyoto's largest music festival "Belief" in the KBS Hall. In January 2022, she was selected as a semi-regular cast on TV Osaka's new music TV show, Kannon-chun. [4] Other guest appearances include Radio LOVE FM and FM Fukuoka. She also appeared in other media including music shows such as TV Osaka and Sun TV.
