Ashley B. Hosey is an author, speaker, and educator based in Georgia. He was born in Rockmart, GA and is currently the principal at Floyd Middle School.[1] Dr. Hosey was a prayer leader in 2019 at the Cobb County Prayer Breakfast.[2] Dr. Hosey has been awarded multiple awards and recognitions for his work, and wrote a book called "Superhero Status: A Superhero's Guide to Leadership".[3]

Dr. Hosey was born in Rockmart, GA.
Dr. Hosey attended several schools based in Georgia, including colleges with the notable exception of the University of Alabama to study for his Doctorate of Education.[4]
Accomplishments[edit]
Dr. Hosey was a Guest Speaker at the Ga 4-H Junior Fall Conference (2017), a presenter at the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals GASSP (2016) , the Georgia Education Leadership Conference (2016),Georgia PTSA Leadership Conference (2016), Georgia State Parent Engagement Conference (2016, 2017), Speaker/Guest panelist for Georgia Youth Summit (2008), and the Polk County Youth Leadership Conference.
Dr. Hosey has received several awards during his career such as The BUY Cobb Making a Difference Award(2014),Cobb NAACP Education Award recipient (2011), Outstanding Commitment to the Community Award American Red Cross (2010) , Kennesaw State University Fulbright-Hayes Scholar in Ghana/Mali. Dr. Hosey has worked and mentored youth in various mentor clubs in Austell, Athens, Eatonton, Mableton, Marietta, Kennesaw, and Rockmart, GA.[5]
Dr. Hosey created ACES[6] and created the first girls conference. [7]
Book[edit]
Ashley Hosey published his own book called: Dr. Hosey has also written a book called "Superhero Status: A Superhero's Guide to Leadership". The book contains advice on how to help people and grow leadership skills. The book while, giving these lessons, tells them in the form of superheroes to make them more easily understood.
The book is 128 pages long and is currently available in paperback.[3]
Current Work[edit]
Dr. Hosey was principal of South Cobb High School[8] until being succeeded by Clint Terza in 2016. He also worked as principal at Pitner Elementary and was a prayer leader in 2019 at the Cobb County Prayer Breakfast.[2] Dr. Hosey is currently principal at Floyd Middle School (Cobb County, GA) and was interviewed on a podcast The Paula G Show.[9][10][11] Dr. Hosey is married and currently has two children.
