Ashley Stillburn is a British West End actor and musical theatre performer based in London, England. He is best known for his portrayal of Walter Hartright in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first revival of The Woman in White at the Charing Cross Theatre in 2017[1]. Theatre critic Mark Shenton wrote Evermore Without You, for which American lyricist David Zippel has crafted poetic words with economy and emotion, and which receives a spellbindingly intense rendition from Ashley Stillburn.[2]
Early Life[edit]
Ashley Stillburn was born in York in 1992 and grew up in Elvington, North Yorkshire. Ashley participated in several amateur productions in York before attending Guildford School of Acting in 2011. Ashley Stillburn was granted permission to graduate early to join the West End cast of "Les Miserables" in 2014 where he played the role of 'Feuilly' and understudied the role of 'Enjolras'.[3] Upon graduating, Ashley Stillburn received the Lucy Evans award for 'Best Performance in a Musical'.

Ashley Stillburn has performed in musicals and concerts both in the UK and internationally. Notable credits include Walter Hartright in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first revival of 'The Woman in White' at Charing Cross Theatre,[1] and 'Charles Clarke' in "Titanic" UK & International tour [4]. Further credits include 'The Phantom' (understudy) and Raoul (understudy) in the West End production of "The Phantom of the Opera"[5], 'Enjolras' (understudy) in the West End production of "Les Miserables",[3] 'Antony Hope' in "Sweeney Todd" for 'Opera de Toulon'[6], 'Corrado Montelli' in Maury Yeston's "Death Takes a Holiday" UK & European Premiere at the Charing Cross Theatre [7] and 'Armand Dufau' in "The Braille Legacy" also at Charing Cross Theatre, London.
Ashley Stillburn has also performed in concerts at St. Martin in the Fields, London and internationally in Thailand, Malta and Guernsey.
In July 2020, Ashley Stillburn returned to the West End cast of "The Phantom of the Opera" to understudy both 'The Phantom' and 'Raoul'.[5]
