The Asian American Christian Collaborative (AACC) is an organization that serves the Asian American Christian community primarily, and other communities more broadly. Birthed during the Covid-19 pandemic, AACC became a leading voice for Asian American Christians throughout the United States. Their work included the "Statement on Anti-Asian Racism in the Time of Covid-19," "Statement on the Atlanta Massacre and ongoing Anti-Asian Hate," panel discussions between Asian and Black Christians, Asian and Latin@ Christians, a march for Black Lives and Dignity in Chicago, and 14 simultaneous rallies throughout the country after the Atlanta Shootings.
Their work has been featured on ABC's Soul of a Nation's Juneteenth Special (2021), where AACC President, Pastor Raymond Chang's efforts with Pastor Charlie Dates was highlighted. They were also featured in CNN, The Washington Post, USA Today, Vox, Religion News Service, The Chicago Sun Times, The Christian Century, NPR, Essence Magazine, and Christianity Today.
The organization is led by Pastor Raymond Chang, who serves as the president, and Dr. Michelle Ami Reyes, who serves as the vice president of AACC. Both speak widely on issues pertaining to race, culture, and faith.
