Dr. Asma Rahim (birthname: Asma Ayesha) is a medical practitioner and educator from Kerala. She is Currently the Professor of Community medicine in Government Medical College, Manjeri,Kerala .1. She is the author of Principles and Practices of Community Medicine(2017), an Undergraduate Medical textbook in India.2She is a philanthropist3 and stands against conservatism4,5.Her field of interests are Immunisation,6,7 Medical education training and Research.Apart from specialising in Public health,[2] She has a fellowship in Medical education from PSG-FAIMER Regional institute, Coimbatore and is a resource faculty at the centre . She is deeply involved in curricular changes and is a strong proponent of Competency-based medical curriculum.
