Aspen Economic Strategy Group

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Aspen Economic Strategy Group (AESG)[1], a program of the Aspen Institute, was founded in 2017 by Henry M. Paulson, Jr., Erskine Bowles, James S. Crown and Robert K. Steel. The AESG is a membership-based forum composed of distinguished leaders from academia, journalism, the private sector, and economic policy with the goal of identifying evidence-based solutions to significant economic challenges facing the United States.

Currently co-chaired by former US treasury secretaries Henry M. Paulson, Jr. and Timothy F. Geithner, the AESG fosters the exchange of economic policy ideas and seeks to clarify the lines of debate on emerging economic issues while promoting bipartisan relationship-building[2] among current and future generations of policy leaders in Washington, D.C. The AESG convenes once per year at the Aspen Institute in Aspen, Colorado for its annual meeting.
