Assaf Shmuel Rinot (Hebrew: אסף שמואל רינות) is an Israeli set theorist and Associate Professor at Bar-Ilan University.
Biography[edit]
Rinot received a Ph.D. from Tel Aviv University in 2011 under the supervision of Moti Gitik, after which he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Ben-Gurion University and the University of Toronto. He joined Bar-Ilan University in 2013 and was promoted to associate professor in 2016.[1]
In 2018 he was awarded a research grant of 1.3 million euros from the European Research Council.[2][3]
