Assignment 1 The iphone (or phone in general) is one of the most common devices that is used in the world today. A mobile device is used to store information/messages, send, process, create, and so much more for our entertainment, jobs, etc. and is probably one of the biggest inventions to mankind today. Typically most mobile devices will have a screen that is touch based and you will be able to type on a touch screen keyboard to process information in a data saving space in your phone. Most of the time between the ages of 12-28, a mobile device is used to communicate with others on social media, or to keep up with today's world and its trendy fashion. As of typically people older than 28 will typically use their phones for work purposes or information. Mobile devices can also be used to connect to other devices via bluetooth or wifi. With this you can stream music, videos, screen share and so much more. On the back of almost all mobile devices is an integrated camera used to record or type high definition and quality pictures or videos. Most phones nowadays have 1920-1080 pixels for their cameras making the outcomes a very high resolution, and detailed photo. Problems that these mobile devices lack to have is security. With technology comes great burden. Along technology not everything is protected. Hacking systems, if a site, app, web service, etc, is not secured correctly and well it makes for an easy hack, which many people may have personal information on. For example, steam was hacked by an organization of people in late july and people have their credit/debit cards on there to pay for games and in app purchases. Methodology in mobile devices typically has 5 stages. Analysis; analysis of new/existing mobile devices, web browsers, Selection; selection of mobile devices, selection of web browsers, selection of characteristics, selection of device recognition methods. Program realization; testing with the web browsers and devices Implementation; integration of the program realization in MLS Evaluation; evaluation of the mobile device recognition Results of mobile devices have been extremely successful over the past decade. You will almost never see someone without a variation of a phone on them. In conclusion, mobile devices have always been a work in progress and will continue to grow and become more technological. With many flaws but twice as many more pros, they are the future of life being considered “technology”.
