The REA (the Association for Renewable Energy and Clean Technology) is the largest renewable energy and clean technology trade association in the UK encompassing all of renewables industry in the United Kingdom. The REA covers renewable power & flexibility, heat and cooling, circular bioresources and transport.[1] The REA is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, and is primarily funded from member subscriptions.[2]

REA was established in 2001 as a not-for-profit trade association, representing British renewable energy producers and promoting the use of renewable energy in the UK.
