The Association for the Development of Organizational Engineering (ADINGOR) is a Spanish non-profit association[1] whose basic objective is to contribute to the development and dissemination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, relating to design, installation, operation, management, control and improvement of industrial systems and service provision, such as companies and other organizations, composed of people, equipment, materials, energy, information and financial resources, in a context of service to users, of attention to the needs and interests of others involved and affected, and respect for the environment.
ADINGOR brings together professionals from the Management and R&D, both of the Enterprises and Organizations and, especially, of the Universities, who are in agreement with the defined objectives. In particular, professionals and professors who work in the field of Organizational Engineering, with vision, training and knowledge of engineering and, therefore, keep in mind their approaches and the role of different views (management, socio-economic, personal, technological, etc.) in the design and operation of Enterprise or Organization systems.

The Association for the Development of Organizational Engineering (ADINGOR) held its constituent assembly in September 1999 at the School of Industrial Engineering of Barcelona of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya with the assistance and representation of professors from the Engineering Schools of the Universities of Bilbao, Burgos, Gijón, Leganés, Madrid, Seville, Tarrasa, Valencia, Valladolid and Vigo.
Structure[edit]
GENERAL ASSEMBLY: The General Assembly is the supreme organ of the Association. All the ADINGOR member form part of it by their own inalienable right.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The Board of Directors is responsible for governing, administering and representing the Association and is elected by the General Assembly.
ADVISORY BOARD: The Advisory Board is made up of people of recognized prestige in Organizational Engineering, and its task is to advise the Board of Directors.
PARTNERS: Members of the Association may be persons of legal age who, in some way, have an interest in serving the purposes of the Association. The types of members of the Association can be: number or individual, collective, student and honor.
Goals[edit]
The ADINGOR's goals are:
- To contribute to the development of knowledge, theory and practical application, specific to the area of Organizational Engineering, and especially those related to the design, installation, operation, management, control and improvement of industrial systems and service provision, such as companies and other organizations, composed of people, equipment, materials, energy, information and financial resources, aimed at satisfying the needs and aspirations of users, taking into account the needs and interests of others involved and affected, and respecting the environment.
- T contribute to the dissemination of the knowledge referred to above, promoting communication among its members, facilitating the exchange of information and experiences, and the discussion of opinions and criteria.
- To encourage exchanges and relations with other organizations, national or foreign, that pursue analogous or complementary purposes to those of the Association; and, in general, carry out and encourage as many activities as possible to benefit the scientific and technical level of the associates, or stimulate the relationships between them.
