Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA) was founded in 1987, in response to the growing interest in animal acupuncture by UK veterinary surgeons.

The Association aims to further the research into and teaching of veterinary acupuncture and to encourage the appropriate use of acupuncture in veterinary practice.

The ABVA maintains standards of education, ethics, practice and discipline, to the well-being benefit of animals in the UK. It aims to promote the safe and competent use of acupuncture by veterinary surgeons, and to help animal owners in the UK to contact veterinary surgeons who use acupuncture.
