Astro
Nick Smith known professionally as Astro is a rapper, songwriter, record producer and engineer. He was (Born Apr 21, 2001) raised on the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. After a series of collaborations Astro began gaining underground recognition for both his artistry and dedication to his projects, this process steadily continued following the release of his featured song "Pinocchio" and contributed to its rise to popularity in 2022. The track "Pinocchio" written by both Son of Mars and Astro, and produced by Trey Bundles has accumulated over 100,000+ views on Youtube Music alone. Astro is known best for incorporating multiple elements from music of various genres, and infusing his cultural rhythms and invigorating vocals to create something familiar yet completely new, all while never failing to recognize his predecessors and the work they have and continuously put in, in this industry.

Early Life
Astro was born in Trinidad and Tobago and spent most of his childhood there, life there was (and still is) fast and hard. The country has one of the highest crime rates next to Jamaica and more surprisingly Syria. At the age of 14 his parents utilized every opportunity they had to move their family to the U.S. As Astro was immediately presented to the world at a youthful age and was naturally exposed to the ‘extremes’ of life, migrating to the U.S. was merely a speed bump for him and during his free time he would study finances in hopes it would help his family get ahead. His family more than anything else aided to form him into the balanced money manager he is today. He went on to graduate High School from Columbus North High School, in Columbus IN.
Early Career
Astro's profession has been spread across four distinct fields but he claims that he has drawn from all corners of life whenever applicable, learning from every single one of the encounters he gets along the way. Astro began touring professionally in 2021 with FOG and became a piece of the FOG band which would later turn out to be the first record label that signed him.

It was in late 2019 that Astro began working for a FOG Records in New York, New York where he could fully embody his passion for music. There he became familiar with production and engineering intricacies and later turned into a guide and a vital individual from the organization and additionally turned out to be one of their lead craftsmen. At this point in his career he was being exposed to the music business at a level previously he could’ve only dreamed of. In July of 2020 Astro began working with Grammy nominated producer and engineer Jak Brown in Atlanta GA.
