At Home with GMA Regional TV is a 2020 Philippine television news broadcasting program broadcast by GMA Davao. Anchored by Rgil Relator and Cyril Chaves, it premiered on June 1, 2020 on the network's morning line up.
Overview[edit]
The show is the first and only unified morning show in Mindanao. It premiered on GMA Davao (Channel 5), GMA Northern Mindanao (Channel 35) and GMA General Santos (Channel 8) on 1 June 2020 and is simulcast over TV-4 Dipolog, TV-3 Pagadian, TV-11 Iligan, TV-12 Bukidnon, TV-5 Ozamiz, TV-26 Butuan, TV-10 Surigao, TV-2 Tandag, TV-9 Zamboanga, TV-12 Cotabato, and TV-12 Jolo.[1]
It marked the return of GMA Davao's return on producing morning news programs five years after its predecessor Una Ka BAI went off the air following the strategic streamlining of programs and manpower in its provincial stations.[2] At Home with GMA Regional TV boasts of segments that highlight positive features and stories of people in the entire island of Mindanao.[3]
It is broadcast live from the GMA Davao Complex in Davao City and GMA Northern Mindanao Studios in Cagayan de Oro City.
At Home with GMA Regional TV is also re-aired for national viewers under GMA News TV's primetime block "GMA Regional TV Strip" on a weekly basis. It airs every Friday (back-to-back with GMA Regional TV Live!) since June 5, 2020. In a matter of months, At Home with GMA Regional TV would become the Saturday edition of the "GMA Regional TV Strip" if the block's extension to weekends was ever announced.
