Athazagoraphobia
Athazagoraphobia is a term used to describe the specific phobia of being forgotten, ignored, or abandoned, particularly by someone significant in one’s life. Although the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) does not formally define it as a separate disease, popular psychology frequently discusses it as a situational or specific phobia associated with attachment anxiety and interpersonal connections. People who suffer from athazagoraphobia may be extremely afraid of being abandoned or losing their emotional bonds, which can cause them to withdraw socially, become anxious, or become dependent on others.[1]
