The Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) is an ice hockey organization based in Moncton, New Brunswick that provides youth and adult ice hockey programming across Atlantic Canada. Founded in 1989, the organization has had numerous alumni that have reached the National Hockey League, including Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, and Brad Marchand. Since 1989, the organization has been led by President, [1]Charlie Bourgeois.  

History

When the company was founded in 1989 the Atlantic Hockey Group began by offering summer hockey schools across New Brunswick. After several years the organization began offering spring hockey programs and leagues across Atlantic Canada. Originating with Elite and AAA levels – the leagues have grown to encompass all levels of play from elite to recreational. The company also has since grown to offer additional specialty hockey programs such as goaltending,power skating instruction, and officiating programs. The company also runs several adult hockey leagues across Atlantic Canada.

Alumni

Currently, the Atlantic Hockey Group has 24 former members who have played or are currently playing in the National Hockey League. This includes several notable players including:

Staff

Alongside president Charlie Bourgeois, the Atlantic Hockey Group also employs former NHL player Jon Sim as director of Nova Scotia Operations.
