Atlantis Magazine was founded in 2005 by American publisher Eric V. Kennedy.
The magazine started out as a color glossy, perfectly bound magazine with editorial coverage of travel, entertainment, political views, environmental and epicurean interests. The original print version was printed bi-monthly and distributed primarily in the U.S. state of Florida. After four years the format was switched to an online model only.
Atlantis has featured on its cover Johnny Depp,[1] Daniel Craig,[2] and Leonardo DiCaprio.[3]
Environmental articles have been published by writers including Jean-Michel Cousteau, and coverage of DiCaprio's environmental documentary The 11th Hour.
