Atlantis Sanya is a luxury hotel resort located in Haitang Bay, Sanya in China. It is one of few resorts in the world that is themed on the lost city of Atlantis. Atlantis Sanya was opened on April 28, 2018 with Kerzner International Holdings Limited as the management and franchisor company and and FOSUN International as the owner and investor.[1]

Atlantis Sanya has 1314 rooms and suites[2] located in the Atlantis tower. It is complemented by the outdoor Aquaventure Waterpark and the indoor Lost Chambers Aquarium. There are 21 restaurant and bars in Atlantis Sanya.[3]
History and Development[edit]
Atlantis Sanya was opened on April 28, 2018. Construction began in 2013, and cost nearly $2 billion USD[4]. Atlantis Sanya was built by FOSUN International and is managed by Kerzner International Holdings Limited. Atlantis Sanya was designed by Jeffrey Beers International,[5] Hirsch Bedner Associates,[6] and over 80 international firms.
