Attia Bano Qamar (born in Pakistan) was crowned Miss Pakistan World runner-up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 9 September 2011. Bano moved to Norway at the age of 1 and resided there ever since.
Pageants[edit]
Miss Pakistan World 2011[edit]
Residing in Oslo, Norway, Bano took part in the 9th Miss Pakistan World pageant and was one of the final five contenders.[1] Bano also won the title of Miss Perfect Ten for having one of the best physique's in the pageant. In the end, Bano won Second Runner up title and got an opportunity to represent Pakistan internationally.[2]
Queen of the World 2011 & Miss Globe 2011[edit]
Attia Bano participated in the Queen of the World 2011 pageant held in Berlin, Germany in December 2011.[3][4] Bano also participated in the Miss Globe 2011 pageant in Albania in October 2011.[5][6]
Other works[edit]
Bano also did a few music videos for local Norwegian vocalists and participated in local reality television shows in Norway, called "Charterfeber" on Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.[7][8][9] This reality show was also shown in Sweden. A documentary was made on Attia Bano on a well known television station in Norway, Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation NRK.[10] In September 2012, Qamar was signed for various Punjabi music videos in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
