Aubrey Lynn Strobel is an author, American actor, and host of The Aubservation podcast sponsored by Cash App. She is most well-known in the cryptocurrency and Bitcoin communities where she has gained a large following on Twitter and speaks at international conferences on economics, inflation, and Bitcoin adoption.
Born outside of the Navajo Reservation in Gallup, New Mexico, Strobel spent her early life in the America Southwest with her parents who taught on the Reservation.
Early life and education[edit]
Aubrey Lynn Rita Strobel was born on November 19, 1992, in Gallup, New Mexico and grew up in a reservation town in Chinle, Arizona. She has a twin brother.
Strobel is an alumna of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Career[edit]
Strobel began her career at Fox News in the Roger Ailes' Junior Reporter Program, weeks prior to Roger Ailes' departure from Fox News. She was chosen as one of the top 20 journalists across the country and there saw the fall-out of one of the largest political media tycoons. She then transitioned her career to public relations and worked at Berlin Rosen, a New York public relations firm focusing on advocacy, criminal justice reform, and grassroots political efforts.
In 2016, Strobel discovered Bitcoin when she bought it at Bitcoin ATM in a deli in South Ferry, Manhattan. She became fascinated by its ability to transact without border and without third-party interference. She began working at Wachsman, a public relations firm specializing in blockchain and cryptocurrency clients.
In 2019, she was hired as Director of Communications at Lolli, the leading bitcoin rewards company. Strobel has published articles on value systems, Bitcoin, and the adoption of Bitcoin in other countries in CNN, NBC, Newsweek, Forbes, CoinDesk, International Business Times, and many others.
She is an almuna of William Esper Acting School in Manhattan, New York. In 2022, Cash App sponsored a podcast called the Aubservation of her opinions and thoughts on the intersection of cryptocurrency and culture.
