Overview[edit]

AuditFile is a technology company that makes audit, review, and compilation software for CPAs and internal auditors. AuditFile was founded in 2011 by brothers Kevin and Steven Bong. AuditFile is headquartered in Walnut Creek, California.[1]

Wiley Advantage Audit[edit]

In November 2016, AuditFile announced their partnership with the publisher John Wiley & Sons. AuditFile became the exclusive reseller and integrator for the Wiley Advantage Audit product.[2]

Awards[edit]

AuditFile won Accounting Today's 2015 Top New Product Award in the audit category.[3] That same year, AuditFile also won the CPA Practice Advisor 2015 Technology Innovation Award.[4] Following the release of the Wiley Advantage Audit integration, AuditFile won the 2017 CPA Practice Advisor Technology Innovation Award.[5] The founders, Kevin and Steven Bong were named to CPA Practice Advisor's 20 Under 40 "Superstars" list. As of April 2018,[citation needed] AuditFile had raised $3M in total venture funding. Financial backers include the private equity firm Banneker Partners and the venture capital firm Draper Associates.
