August Aurelius Raber (born 9 March 2009) is a Swedish-Emirati racing driver competing in the LMP3 class of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup for Brutal Fish by Campos Racing.[1]
In 2025 he finished seventh in the F4 British Championship with Argenti Motorsport, taking three race wins, two fastest laps and seven podium finishes.[2][3]
Early career
Raber was introduced to motorsport in karting at Kristianstad, Sweden, and went on to compete internationally, including in the Rotax Max Euro Trophy, before progressing to single-seaters.[2]
Single-seater career
Formula 4
Raber made part-time appearances in the 2024 F4 British Championship before contesting the 2024–25 Formula 4 Middle East Championship with Yas Heat Racing alongside Adam Al-Azhari.[4] He made his official racing debut at the non-points-scoring Formula 4 Middle East Trophy Round held at the Yas Marina Circuit during the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.[5] During the season, Raber took a race win on home soil at the Yas Marina Circuit.[6]
In 2025 Raber contested his first full season of the F4 British Championship with Argenti Motorsport. He won two of the three opening-weekend races at Donington Park and led the championship after round one.[2] He went on to finish the season seventh in the standings with three race wins, two fastest laps and seven podium finishes.[3]
Formula Regional Middle East
For the 2026 Formula Regional Middle East Trophy, Raber stepped up to Formula Regional machinery with Pinnacle Motorsport, partnering Alex Powell in the team's line-up.[3]
Sportscar career
Gulf 12 Hours
In December 2025, Raber contested the Gulf 12 Hours endurance race at the Yas Marina Circuit, driving the #3 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) for Car Collection Motorsport in the GT3 Pro-Am class. He shared the car with Alexey Denisov, Victor Plekhanov and Damir Saitov.[7]
Michelin Le Mans Cup
For 2026, Raber signed with Brutal Fish by Campos Racing to share the #12 Ligier JS P325 in the LMP3 class of the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup, alongside French driver Arthur Rogeon.[1] His entry qualified fourth at the season-opening round at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and second at round two at the Circuit Paul Ricard, though the car retired with mechanical issues on both occasions.
Personal life
Raber holds dual Swedish and Emirati nationality. He is based in Dubai and London, and spends time in the mediteranian, where his family has ties to Monaco.[2] He has cited Max Verstappen as a key influence on his approach to racing.[2]
