The Auguste-Viktoria-Gymnasium (often referred to as AVG) in Trier is Gymnasium (Germany), which was founded in 1879.[1]
History[edit]
The school building consists of a monastery which was built in 1652 and is still used, and a building which was built in 1970. The newer building is the main building. The monastery was renovated from 2010 to 2016. Since then it's fully accessible for people with impairments or disabilities.

Die Schule ist ein Gymnasium mit bilingualem Zug und dem Schwerpunkt Mathematik-Informatik-Naturwissenschaften. Sie wird heute von Mädchen und Jungen besucht.
The school is a Gymnasium with a bilingual branch and is orietented towards Maths and Science. Both boys and girls are visiting the school.
In July 2005/2006 the school started a branch for gifted students.
Today ca. 1200 students are attending the school.
