Auran is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.
Auran made her live action debut in Marvel Cinematic Universe with the television series Inhumans, portrayed by Sonya Balmores.

The character was created by Charles Soule, Pepe Larraz and Ryan Stegman, and first appeared in Inhuman #7 (December 2014).
Fictional character biography[edit]
Auran is an Inhuman who possessed yellow skin and large ears. Her ears granted her the ability to hear anyone by choosing a word and knowing where that person was. She was a prominent investigator in the city of Attilan, until it blew up forcing her and her two daughters to flee. She ended up working for the New Attilan Security Force alongside her partner Frank McGee, whom she nicknamed Nur. They were hired by Medusa to search for Black Bolt and found him at a night club. Maximus was also there and created an explosion that killed Auran.[1]
Auran's daughters, Treste and Irelle, ask the Inhuman Reader to use his powers to resurrect their mother.[2] She comes back to life, but begins facing an identity crisis when she starts to question whether she is who she thinks she is.[3]
Powers and abilities[edit]
Auran has parabolic hearing where she can choose any word she wishes. Whenever that word is spoken on Earth, she is capable of hearing and knowing the location of where it was spoken. The reader spawned duplicate created by her two daughters had much of the same abilities, but was constantly hearing anything and everything around her at all times. This Auran learned to assimilate the noises she heard with focus, if she concentrated she could steal the voice of another.[4]

Auran appears in the live-action Inhumans TV series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, portrayed by Sonya Balmores.[5]

Auran appears as an unlockable character in Avengers Academy, voiced by Evelyn Huynh.[6] She appears during the Inhumans event.[7]
