Austin Gordon Springs (born May 1, 1974) is an American businessman, influencer, MMA fighter, and amateur actor. Springs life story is one of hardship and abuse. Adopted at 8 years old, abused by his family, and left at a bus stop at 16 years old, his success is one one that he shares with troubled youth whenever given the opportunity. He reiterates in his talks that a person is responsible for their own choices, and past events should not influence future outcomes. This lead to his copyrighted business process of "Outcome Engineering".[1]
Early life[edit]
Springs has won many accolades in his career. Most of his professional awards were inside the organizations in which he worked but one note worthy from the community was the 40 under 40 Pierce County Businessperson of the Year Award 2006.[2] Additionally, he has spent time on several boards: Interim Finance Committee for the City of Covington (1993) [3], Advisory Board Member for Clover Park Technical College’s Culinary Arts Program (2005,2006,2007,2008)[4][5], Advisory Board Member for Washington State University’s Dietetics Program (2007, 2008) [6]
EDUCATION:
- Central Washington University, Bachelor of Science in Business, 2015
- Highline Community College , Associates Degree in Business, 1995
- Highline Community College , Associates Degree in General Studies, 1995
Springs started his career in MMA in 2001 and quickly ended it in 2002. Austin had an undefeated amateur record, but found the anxiety and stress of the main stage too much, never obtaining a professional win.[7]
Career[edit]
Springs quickly, and consistently, went back to fitness and influencing as his past times outside of work. [8] He is an upcoming influencer on social[8] media, consults with troubled youth about becoming successful. His incredibly High IG (147 on Raven Progressive Matrices test) [9] and innovative approaches have Springs successfully consulting with some of the largest companies in the world on efficiencies and outcome engineering. These companies include, but are not limited to: Amazon, Google, Boeing, Kroeger, WinCo, Albertson's, Microsoft, The Westin, Simon Properties, Stripe, ABM, DaVita, Franciscan Health System, and Bank of America. He has negotiated agreement for clients all over the world: Dubai, Canada, Hong Kong, Belarus, United States, Australia.
ROOT OF SUCCESS:
Springs' copyrighted Outcome Engineering design is most basically understood when he has his participants solve mazes on paper. A control group begins at the "START" and works towards the "EXIT", and a second group begins at the "EXIT" and works toward the "START". In nearly every single instance, the group working backwards finishes the maze quicker and makes fewer wrong turns. This same philosophy is used in his practical business applications, and mentoring programs. You identify exactly what the outcome looks like and work backwards. The key is identifying strong correlating processes that achieve the different stages. If there is no correlation, then it is discarded. In the end, there is a road map from today's date, to the date of success, that when followed has had a 100% success rate.
